Our Adult Swim Lessons are designed to help individuals of all skill levels feel confident and comfortable in the water, whether you’re just getting started or looking to refine your technique. This program offers a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you can learn at your own pace, focusing on building water safety skills, improving swimming techniques, and gaining confidence in the pool.
Whether you’re preparing for a swim competition, looking to stay fit, or simply want to be more confident in the water, our Adult Swim Lessons will help you achieve your goals. Come dive in; your swimming journey starts here!
*CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 8 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN.

Lesson Goals
- Develop proper swim techniques (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, etc.).
- Build endurance and strength in the water.
- Increase comfort with water-based activities and reduce fear of swimming.
- Enhance breathing techniques for a smoother swimming experience.
- Promote water safety knowledge for personal well-being.
Important Things to know!
- Swimming assessments will be held at your local pool to determine your swimmer's ability
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the class start time.
- Proper swimming attire required
Sessions Break down
Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills
Samuel V. Arroyo Recreation Center
Beginning December 2, 2024 to March 8, 2025
Sessions available: Registrants must select a day and participate on the registered re-occurring days only)
Every Monday, 5:00pm to 5:45pm
Every Thursday, 5:00pm to 5:45pm
Every Saturday, 12:00pm to 12:45pm
Must register at one location and remain active through out the session. Each location will host its own separate programming.
