Dive into summer with the Hartford Tigersharks Intramural Swim Team! This exciting program offers a fun and supportive environment for young swimmers aged 6 to 17 to develop their skills, build endurance, and experience the thrill of team spirit right here in their community.
With practices held at four fantastic Hartford pools – Pope, Keney, Goodwin, and Colt Park – we make it easy for everyone to join the action.
The Hartford Tigersharks is designed for swimmers of all abilities, from those looking to refine their strokes to those new to competitive swimming. Our experienced coaches will provide instruction in all four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly), as well as dives, turns, and relay techniques. Beyond skill development, we emphasize sportsmanship, teamwork, and a love for the water, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere for every participant.
